In 2010, CMDL produced the complete detailed design package for an 80‐foot Columbia Class ASD Ship‐Docking Tug for Shaver Transportation Company of Portland, Oregon.  The tug was constructed by Diversified Marine Inc.  The vessel was recently launched and commissioned, and is currently in service as the most powerful tug in Shaver’s fleet, drawing praise from the owners and State Pilots.  The Columbia Class is a new series of tug designs by Capilano Maritime Design Ltd.
